I was in a mva in 1989 and had severe head injuries that placed me in a coma for several months. Upon waking from the coma and I was stabilized I was transferred to Dallas Rehabilitation Hospital and Dr.Poor met with my mother and myself and discussed my facial injuries and what needed to be done to correct the right side of my face that was damaged in my wreck. A few days later I was in the operating room and Dr.Poor reconstructed my WHOLE ENTIRE RIGHT SIDE OF MY FACE AND I WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE MY MODELING! After surgery was completed and I was back in my hospital room Dr Poor sent me a beautiful vase of roses.I am now a 45-year-old grandmother and living in Florida. I have the utmost respect for Dr.Poor and highly recommend him for any specialty procedures!

I had wisdom teeth removed under anesthesia and he found that a back wisdom had grown around a facial nerve. He also told me to never have it removed due to facial paralysis. Thank you for basically saving my health and yes he is the best, most qualified cranial/maxofacial that i have had and i would recommend anyone with serious dental problems to consult with Dr. Poor.

Dr. Poor was kind enough, I would guess to sell his service. In the end I had problems he was unwilling to treat. After my third trip to him and his smug response to me as a patient, I decided to find someone more capable of handling this procedure. He cost me years of issues for which i will never be able to get back. Dr. Poor I hope looks for another line of work he is suitable for.

This doctor ruined my life with the procedure that he performed on me in 1991 for a dis-located disc. Since then, I have undergone 13 jaw surgeries, chronic pain is my life and I have not worked in 17 years. I am disabled. This man should have lost is license to practice, period. Do not use this doctor for any reason.
