My niece was warned by her general dentist not to see Dr. Olson, to only see the other doc in the practice and if Olson were the only one available not to see him. She needed emergency oral surgery. The other dentist was in and was wonderful. She came back for the follow up and Dr. Olson was the one to see her. She thought, "well, it is only a follow up". She told him novocain didn't numb her. He gave her a shot and without taking a breath opened the wound from the surgery and began probing. He put in drain while she was begging him to stop and kicking her legs. His assistant held her legs down and they both fussed at her for not sitting still. This man is cruel. This man is a beast and should be driven out of the medical field. When my niece told her dentist about the oral surgeon he said "I warned you not to see him!" but she said, again, that she figured he was just going to look in her mouth and say "you're good to go". She was so traumatized when she called for me to rescue her, it was pitiful. His assistant has no compassion or bedside manner. They are a perfect pair. Anyone with a heart would never work with him.

In the absence of Dr. G. Fritz, my oral surgeon, Dr. Olson removed my stitches after having had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted a week ago. He is not friendly at all. He did not talk me thru what he was about to do and when he proceeded to remove the stitches, I jerked due to pain/discomfort---instead of being compassionate, he huffed and puffed as though I was causing him heartburn! He immediately tried to recover the situation by letting me know he wasn't trying to hurt me but that I needed to be as still as possible. YEAH RIGHT! He told me I had a lot of food particles trapped and that I needed to clean the areas. He did not offer to clean them for me as Dr. Fritz does. He sucks. He's rude and arrogant and I'm not sure how he manages to have any patients at all! His assistant, Lindsay's bedside manners are not much better. I also told him that Dr. Fritz advised I would receive a topical treatment before removal of stitches to ease any pain---he simply ignored me! He told me that the removal of the stitches should now help ease the pain and walked out of the office. I told the ladies at the front desk I wanted to come back immediately to see Dr. Fritz and NOT TO EVER SCHEDULE me with Dr. Olson again!
