I have gone to Dr. Stegelvik for about 3 years. During that time, I had some tooth pain and told him about it. He looked at it and told me that there is nothing wrong. I recently went to another dentist who told me that the pain was caused by an "obvious cavity" under an existing filling. The new dentist showed me visual evidence of the decay after drilling into the tooth, so I know who which dentist was right in this case. I will now need a root canal because of this missed diagnosis and decay that was allowed to progress to an advanced state. Besides this experience, my other visits with this dentist were satisfactory, if a little rushed in nature. However, because of the missed cavity, I will not be returning to Dr. Stegelvik.

About Hygienist: The hygienists and the office staff are nice, and my cleanings were done satisfactorily. Unlike with a previous dentist I have seen, the turnover rate for hygienists in this office is pretty low, which is good.
