My 15 month old son fell & cracked his front tooth & split his lip. I was referred to Dr. Weideman from my son's pediatrician. It was a Sunday, so I had to speak with the on call person. She had me look at his tooth to see various symptoms. I kept trying to look at his tooth for her & of course he was screaming & crying because I had to push on his swollen lip to see his tooth. It was a thick crack to at least the middle and a smaller crack by the gums. She asked if I could see pink and I told her I thought I could, but it was hard to tell since he was moving and crying so much. Then she asked me to take a picture of it and send it to her. Again... 15 MONTH OLD SCREAMING and she wants me to take a pic?? I told her I don't have a smart phone so it may not be very clear (that and he wouldn't hold still) and when she heard I didn't have a smart phone she asked if I have insurance. Yes I have insurance even though I don't have a smart phone! I told her I'd try to send her the pic. I tried, but none of them turned out. Finally I just gave up and found another dentist when she told me that since he is a new patient the Dr. wouldn't be able to see him until he had a complete check up anyways and she won't do that on a Sunday.
