I am reporting Irwin Wedner to the State Dental Board for total patient irresponsibility: - He denied from 01/16 to 03/06/16 that he had received a custom abutment in the amount of $905.00 charged to me by my former dentist Mark Montgomery. I took MM to Small Claims Court in 2014 and he told the judge that he had fedexed it to IW. This is still an open case and also being reported to the Dental Board of California. Both dentists did as they pleased with my money and my dental health with total disregard for my rights as a patient. - I was speaking weekly to IW's daughter Elena, also his office manager. She said that she spoke to her father and he guaranteed her: - that he never received the custom abutment. - there was never a reason for him to receive it. - for me to contact Fedex. - he also wanted to know who my new dentist was???? - it was very important to come for my check up with him and dental cleaning On 02/02/16 I sent him an email requesting that he gave me a letter stating that he did not receive it. He could not produce that letter. At some point IW realized he was going to find himself in court under oath...... Finally on 03/07/16 I had a message from his office that he 'had been thinking about it ......found it....blamed its misplacement in a flooding at his office'??? IW never apologized or spoke to me. I had been his patient for over 30 years. The irony is that about 10-15 years ago IW complained to me that dental care had become first a business for dentists and no longer placing patients dental health first as when he graduated from medical school. I will be bringing this case to a national platform. Meanwhile consumers should read the following article www.dentalfearcentral.org/media/I_Have_Had_Enough.pdf

About Front Desk: On my last two visits for teeth cleaning the hygienist hit both times two of my teeth with her instruments. Both times she made it seem as very casual. The first time I was shocked, since she had never done it before and hygienists are trained never to do it. The second time I was terrified and after speaking to different people, I eventually realized that it might have been done deliberately. I had complained a few years before about another employee who was charging me for unnecessary extras, not taking the appropriate X-rays. I sent an email and asked never to have any future interactions with this employee. These employees have no personal benefit from these highly irregular activities.

I know this doctor: Since 1981 to 02/16. Realized in February 2016 that I was dealing with a dishonest, unprofessional periodontist.
