I have seen several periodontists over the years because of my gum disease (and my living in different areas) . I found Dr. Yamada to be excellent : Informed ,open to alternative treatments , very skilled and with an attentive ear to the patient's concern ..My gum surgery was painless-during and post- and his interest in his patients is genuine. Even though I am on a budget (I have no insurance.) I never felt it be a hindrance to the care received (unlike other periodontists I have seen) . I am overall VERY grateful to have found him, for I believe him to be a rare caring and expert professional;.
