Dr. Lackler is wonderful and I very much appreciate what he has done for me. He was friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic with a great smile and personal style. He had me relaxed and comfortable throughout the procedures. I like him very much and would continue to see him if other issues in his office were not causing me to choose another periodontist.

About Front Desk: When the cost of the procedure was explained verbally, two of us were present and both understood exactly the same thing from the information presented verbally from the office mgr. Believing I understood the costs, I didnt look over the paper work again because I understood what had been said verbally. I went ahead with that procedure and paid for it. I scheduled the implant for a Friday so as not to miss work. I was called no less than 3 times asking me to reschedule - when I said I had to have Friday, I was pushed out 6 weeks after having already pushed the original appointment 4 weeks to get a Friday in the first place. When I finally went in to have the implant placed, I was informed that I had "misunderstood" (which means both of us listening misunderstood in EXACTLY the same way.) I was told I still owed another $1,900. That is a PRESENTATION problem, not an understanding issue when both people have the same perception but it's wrong. Not having another $1,900 I left without the having procedure. No one ever called or emailed to see why I had walked out. BUT, they did feel that a call to my regular dentist was in order!! No call to me, just to my dentist! When I called days later and spoke with the Ofc Mgr she informed me that I had been "unreasonable" and told me not to return and that a letter to that effect would be sent to me. Even if this was TOTALLY my ignorance about finances, to be told I was "unreasonable" and to check on me by calling my dentist is condescending. What's unreasonable about NOT having a procedure you can't afford???? I'll be waiting for that letter and I'll be framing it when it arrives!!
