Expensive? They're ALL expensive, but it's a matter of getting your money's worth. Dr. Miyamoto is conservative, in a good way: he paints a complete picture for the patient. His UCLA background inspires confidence,and his treatment justifies it. He is extremely thorough, and by the time you finish with the treatment, you're aware that all of his recommendations are ground in your best interests, not in upselling or any other reason. Colleen is great. Miyamoto seems to be rough on the help (high expectations) so dental assistants seem to turn over. Be firm about needing extra pain/relaxation/prep meds prior to visit, as he is not a big believer in knocking his patients out (he doesn't offer gas, etc.). However, upon request, he will prescribe pre-visit meds that do the job. I've had nothing but good experience, and I waited years to get my implants done (I am in final stages prior to getting them installed). Would recommend him highly.
