Veneers done wonderfully. Went back so that experienced hygienists could deal with this new type of mouth now. Everything going well until I go for my scheduled cleaning and a new hygienist immediately goes to the veneers and starts scraping. The reason you continue to go spend the extra money on a professional cleaning with hygienists who have veneer experience is because you don't want the great work ruined. Well, that's what she did. Obviously, she is not aware of how to deal with veneers nor where to properly begin a cleaning. I figured I would just change the hygienist not the dentist. When I told the dentist what she did, he was nasty to 'me.' He kept going on how she was a good hygienist, yet there was now something wrong due to what she did. He was short, condescending and snotty and tried to smooth out what she did. Now after initially leaving the office with a great set of veneers which until that day had no problems, I now have jagged edges between the veneers. YEAH, SHE"S A GREAT HYGIENIST ALL RIGHT!!! And, if he still thinks so, I would find a different place to go. Best advice....don't assume because you go to a top-of-the-line establishment the people who work there know what they're doing. Idiot proof everything!!
