It should have been clear to me from the very beginning that Dr. Sheres had no training or experience in cosmetic dentistry.. He showed me magazine pictures as examples , but I could tell the pictures in the magazines were impossible to achieve in my mouth because I show no gum when I smile. My concern was that my lower teeth were dark and crocked and my upper teeth were too short and never showed at all.. I'd heard of a lip lift but he didn't seem to know anything about it.He made the upper teeth longer, but they interfered with my bite, and they looked like Chiclets... He tried to rectify the bite by grinding down the lower front teeth which he said would make them look straighter..I went to another dentist who did the job right=raised my upper lip, straightened and bleached my lower teeth and made beautiful veneers.on the top teeth but further back and thichened them so I have a broad Farrah Faucet smile now. Cost for Sheres $6400, cost of other dentist 14,800, but it was worth every penny; I can't stop smiling...
About Hygienist: The hygienist did average work -not much below the gum mostly just polishing. Nobody examined me for periodontal disease.which I have a little of.that was treated at the second dentist.
