Dr. Tidwell is excellent! I recently had to have all four of my wisdom removed. Three were bony impactions (including bottom left & right), and the last, while erupted, didn't have enough space to stay in my jaw. I'm 30 years old and had never been under anesthesia, nor had I ever had major dental work performed on me. I was very nervous about having this procedure. Now, 10 days out from my surgery, I'm doing great! I had barely any swelling--three days after the surgery one of my clients exclaimed "you have no swelling at all!" I credit my recovery to the communication, skills, and compassion of Dr. Tidwell and his staff.
At the consult, not only did I speak extensively with the doctor but I also was given a pre-operative video to watch which thoroughly explained about wisdom teeth, impaction, and the various problems that could come from the surgery. Dr. T. recommended IV anesthesia, good decision! No pain at all! And the post operative instructions (swelling reduction, cleaning, pain management, etc) were clear and easy to follow. In addition, the office encouraged you to call with questions, which were quickly answered. And when I needed a follow up appt. I was squeezed right in.
In short, Dr. Tidwell is top notch!
