I took my daughter when she was 3 for her first dentist visit to Dr. Chen. Dr. Chen was kind, explained exactly what she was going to do, let my daughter ask questions/touch equipment, and made the visit very pleasant. My daughter is consequently not afraid of going to the dentist. Although Dr. Chen does not specialize in children, I would recommend her for your son/daughter.
