I found Dr. Matloff to be a very personable person, concerned with how the patient is feeling as well as interested in who his patients are and what their priorities are. During my visit, he was continually educating me on the process of the root canal and reviewed with me my options to make sure I was comortable with the cost and procedure.
I didn't feel any pain at all during the entire process... and even after the novocaine wore off. I got a T-shirt as well. :)
His staff is great also.
