My family and I have been patients of Dr. Makiyama's now for about 7 years (give or take). Not only is he the only dentist for our family, but he's turned my husband around who has been a lifetime scardy-cat.
He's taken incredible care of my kids since they were 2, but has restored my teeth to health and replaced a few with dental implants on my husband after many years of complete neglect.
I've sent all my friends and fellow mothers of my mother's group to him. He's been quite the regular referral there. Cost-wise, he is very fair, his explanations tend to be on the lengthy side and therefore always well informed. He has the latest dental equipment and is quite the joy to talk and shoot the breeze with.
Recommend him? Everytime - he better never retire!
