In the fall of 2010, I had not been to a dentist in over a decade unfortunately, though I do brush every day. In going to Dr. Engler's office, rather than getting rebuked, they were glad I was finally in to see a dentist, and everyone in the office was incredibly nice.
Then this past month, I went in for a cleaning. I had two fillings back from many years ago which needed to be replaced. And of all things, one of them was a mercury filling. I did not even know I had mercury in my mouth! In taking out the fillings, Dr. Engler had an oxegen mask for me so that I did not breath any of the mercury vapors, as she instructed me to breath through my nose and not my mouth. She also gave me earplugs, which really helped with the drill noice. She was so efficient in taking out the two old fillings, and replacing them with a resin composite, I was surprised how smooth and how fast the procedure went!! I have never had a better dentist. I am looking for a new job right now, and if I have to move from Denver, I will miss Dr. Engler and her staff!
