My experience with Dr. El Haje was initially quite pleasant, but it has significantly deteriorated over the past year or so. Aside from general issues like his very modest office and the sometimes rude receptionist, there are two significant issues that have caused me to look for another dentist. First, his current hygienist seems unbalanced and injured me during my last cleaning, and then yelled at me for complaining about it. I often hear her yelling at someone or with the dentist while she is in other treatment rooms. Second, I have been kept waiting for over an hour during my last two appointments while people who arrived after me were seen before me. When I asked about the delays, the doctor was rude and told me to read a magazine. Also, when I tried to ask questions about a recommended procedure, he yelled at me not to ask questions while he is writing and then walked out of the room. I am not sure what has happened to the office or his service, but it is now horrible. I will not go back to Dr. El Haje and do NOT recommend him to others.

About Hygienist: There seems to be a problem retaining hygienists in the office, as there have been several in the past three years and sometimes it is difficult to get appointments when there is only one working a couple days a week. The current hygienist seems a little unbalanced and was extraordinarily rough and rude to me during my last visit. She even yelled at me when she nicked my tongue with her instrument, causing me to bleed. I felt physically scared to let her work on me after that incident.

I know this doctor: 3.5 years
