I want to start out by complementing the on-call nurse (Tammy) who Es so helpful late night early morning when I was having a bleeding problem. When we couldn't get the bleeding to stop, Tammy and Dr Jirsa met me at their Ankeny location on Sunday afternoon. The stitches had come loose and so that was why the bleeding wouldn't stop. They were so professional and friendly and showed genuine concern for my well being. I would recommend the facility to anyone needing work done. Dr Jirsa and Dr Dunbar are very easy to work with and answered all my questions. Other healthcare professionals should also take a lesson from Tammy on how to talk to and take care of a patient while on call.
