The choice of endodontist came down to who would accept my insurance after i examined this site for the best RC tx docs out there for poor molar #31. Dr. Krasner spent as much time as needed to explain to me my options and did a risk/benefit analysis with me on them all BEFORE he began tx. That meant a lot to me. NO PAIN!!! (except a pinch where the novacaine went in 4 times) NO PAIN AT ALL DURING THE PROCEDURE!! The cost of this procedure is extremely reasonable given his level of competence. I would have expected to have paid more for someone of his caliber.
Dr. Krasner explained everything he was doing while he was doing it which made for a nice chair side manner. Very nice man. His assistant was like his second brain too. You could tell that she has been with him awhile as she anticipated his tool requirements. The whole RC took a little over an hour to complete (3 canals to fill).
Besides his RC experience, he also teaches endo at Temple University Graduate Dental School. If i should ever need another (and i know i will), he is my endodontist of choice. we are lucky to have him here.
As an aside, he has great loudspeakers and an eclectic array of music to while away the time in the chair.
