I've left Dr. Karsant. I was not happy with going to him. He took over the practice from my long-time dentist, who retired. He immediately wanted to initiate an expensive program of replacement of old fillings, even though none had yet given me trouble--none were cracked, etc. When I did get one replaced, it resulted in six weeks of a throbbing pain--making me feel that I would have been better off leaving it alone. A friend who complained of experiences similar to mine has also changed to another dentist.
