Originally, I visited Dr. Roupas to replace a veneer on my front tooth with a crown. I had heard that he is the best cosmetic dentist in the Charlotte area. He was meticulous about the cosmetic appearance of my crown, sending several back to the lab until the color, shape, and texture were perfect. No one ever believes that it's not my real tooth.
As for my general dental health, he is thorough in explaining the science behind the lingering effects of a childhood injury and very well-read on current studies and procedures. Because of childhood dental trauma and its longterm effects, I've spent more time at the dentist than the average person. I've lived in several different cities. Dr. Roupas is hands-down the BEST dentist I've ever seen. I drive clear across town for my appointments. His hygiene staff is terrific. The ONLY complaint I've had over the years is that his administrative staff can be rather curt, both over the phone and in person. However, the excellent care I receive from my hygientist and Dr. Roupas makes it worth overlooking.
