after putting off a dental visit for two years, i finally went to see dr. canfield because he accepts my dental insurance and he has been treating my boyfriend's TMJ for a long time. his staff is comprised of very sweet, helpful women that you greet you with a smile and are very personable. dr. canfield himself is very professional, though i admit he's not as personable as the rest of his staff. he comes off as very busy and doesn't seem to like to waste time. (one of his assistants actually had to do my cleaning for me because he wasn't available to, he met with me afterward to examine my teeth and let me know i needed a filling and to have my four wisdom teeth removed.) the facility has a very clean, artsy feel and all of the equipment looks state-of-the-art. the cleaning was mildly uncomfortable but that's because i had a lot of plaque buildup thanks to waiting for two years for a cleaning. everyone there is very professional and i felt perfectly at ease with everyone, even dr. canfield for the brief moment i met him. despite being busy, he definitely knows what he's doing.
