I tried to make a first-time appointment at Dr. Benjamin's Manhattan office, and I dealt with the rudest receptionist I have ever come across. I was simply asking insurance questions, and she spoke to me as if I were dumb. I assured her that I was an intelligent person, and that she did not need to speak to me as if I weren't. She responded, "Well, you say you're intelligent, but I've had to explain it to you four times, and you still don't get it." She had in fact not answered any of my questions clearly. He may be a good dentist, I don't know, but he made a very poor judgement call in hiring that receptionist.
