I was a happy patient of Dr. Glassman's practice for 2 years. Though I only met him once to fit in my mouthguard. He seemed like a nice guy and I never had any bad feelings. But one incident has left a sour taste in my mouth and I won't be returning to the practice. I went in for a routine cleaning with the dental hygienist. I had noticed a dark spot on the top of my back molar for some months now but I had always forgotten to mention it Upon being home for about 2 weeks I knew this dark spot was a bad thing because food was getting stuck inside my crevices on my molar. Obviously leading to DECAY. It doesn't take a genius who cares for their teeth to figure this out. So I called in to let them know I needed a sealant for my molar Dr. Richman examined my tooth and noticed his explorer stuck and he said this will be more then a filling I'll have to drill. Of course this totally surprised me considering I didn't think this problem was so bad! I explained I had come in recently and asked should they have found this upon my cleaning. He said yes but they must of overlooked it. I mentioned after the filling in the reception area that the hygenist never ran the explorer on my molars. The hygenist popped her head out and said "that isn't true!" Interrupting my conversation with the receptionist and doctor. The receptionist then jokes that "o now you got her mad, she's going to be in a bad mood" While the doctor assured me they usually do a thorough job. I'm standing there thinking to myself how unprofessional it was for her to stick her head out and say that while no one APOLOGIZED to me for missing a clearly obvious cavity that was developing. Which only I SAW without fancy equipment but by opening my mouth while brushing my teeth The Hygenist had every right to defend herself and her work but it was quite obvious nobody could see that a cavity was forming in broad daylight and it took the one person paying money, putting my trust in the hands of trained dental professionals to notice something was wrong

I know this doctor: 2 Years
