After a root canal, Dr. Gamble left me with a crown that had a black line next to the gum line. He said he would fix it with a "margin" and he had his assistant cement the crown (supposedly temporary). Turns out the tooth couldn't be removed (permanent cement?) and I have to live with this piece of crap tooth. He obviously would not hold the lab's feet to the fire on the quality of this crown. Now the post holding the crown has cracked the real tooth holding the post. I have found out he used a post that is "too rigid" for the position of the tooth. I feel I should have my money back for the crappy looking crown. All of his dental work has worn out suspiciously early. I've been had!
