Very good dentist. Really knows his stuff. Most of my extended family and even some of their in-laws all go to Doctor Dutro. One older relative was very nervous about finding a new dentist after many bad (and painful) experiences. Now she willingly drives 45 miles to visit Dr. Dutro. His knowledge of medical science (over and above dentistry) helped save my father-in-law's life!
Drawbacks: Doesn't usually see children. Very selective about which dental insurance policies he accepts.
