I could never imagine being happy about going to a Dentist, but I am ecstatic about going to Dr. Nussbaum! He is a great professional who is genuinely interested in what his patients feel, what they want to achieve and how they want to go about it. He gives his patients his time and full attention, answers all questions, but at the same time does not waste their time. The office is like a spa, seriosely, his staff is super friendly and efficient.
I have had bad luck with dentists before. The reason I turned to Dr. Nussbaum was my recent experience where I could not get anything done. My previous Dentist kept sending me in rounds to 'specialists' with a bunch of 'problems' I had to resolve before he even would touch my teeth. 1.5 years later I paid a lot of money, heard crazy suggestions for crazy surgeries and got nothing done (all I wanted was a filling). The most recent surgery suggestion was so outrageous that I finally went for a second opinion., Needless to say Dr. Nissbaum confirmed my gut feelings about it even though I did not provide him all the details of the previous nightmare. Just as I thought, I needed a couple of very old problem crowns replaced (which I wanted to do anyways), my fillings and a good cleaning.
About Hygienist: One word: AMAZING! The best hygienist I ever went to, superb patient treatment and wonderful personality. I actually want to go get my teeth scraped now, which used to give me hibi-jibbies.
