Hygenists are thorough & professional. The decore is 1st rate. Unfortunately that's where the praise ends. The turn over in the billing department and the lack of knowledge about insurance plans by the front office has made a lovely practice a living hell for me. I have yet to recieve a bill that even remotely resembles my proceedures. If you plan to take many hours over many days off work to get your bill corrected this is the place for you! If they tell you something is covered, you better check for yourself, many times that is not the case. The billing department has turned into a small time extortion syndicate. First they want you to pay for the entire procedure upfront, including the part your insurance will cover! After many, many billing problems my wife gave them one last chance to get it right. As you may have guessed by this reviewed they exceeded even my wildest dreams and have taken incompetance to a new high. Two months ago my wife & two children went in for a routine examine and cleaning. Three days ago I recieved our 1st bill $215 owed (60 days past due), 2 days after that a letter threating collection in 5 days. Long and short, all claims but $64 paid by insurance, which we were assured was covered.
A code used to report <em>internal bleaching</em> on a <em>per tooth</em> basis. Typically this procedure is prescribed for teeth with a history of trauma that has caused darkening of the tooth. The tooth is endodontically treated prior to internal bleaching, which is separately reported under different codes (See D3310, D3320, and D3330).
