I Haven't actually been to Dr. Biede since I moved to Tucson several years ago and I was a fee-for-service patient. The reason I'm writing this review now is simply because my DMO insurance has required me to change dentists several times in subsequent years, so I feel I've experienced the best & worst that northwest Tucson has to offer. Needless to say, I no longer which dentists are on my insurance preferred list; I'd rather pay 100% out of pocket and receive the type of care that Dr. Biede & his staff gave me when I fisr moved to the area. As someone who has designed a number of actual pharmacy grade cleanrooms, I distinctly remember how clinically clean the facilities were; yet, the office felt anything but "clinic". It was warm, inviting, and at no point did I feel rushed. Ironically, just prior to moving here I saw a specialist in San Diego who recommended some extensive work on a crown as well as a filling. Dr. Biede disagreed regarding the need for a filling and actually made the necessary adjustments to my crown during my routine cleaning appointment at no extra change. I cannot believe it's taken me this long to realize I never should have allowed insurance to dictate my dental care.
