I have gone to Dr. Vickers for around 10 years. God has blessed me with a good set of teeth - I am 45 and have all 32 teeth in great condition. During my stay with Dr. Vickers he convinced me to remove a silver filling and replace it with the white composite filings - this tooth was not giving me any issues.
Needless to say once he removed the silver filing he decided I needed a root canal - which was painful. It took longer than expected and the numbing medicine began to wear off - OUCH!!! It took two visits to finally complete the root canal.
Dr. Vickers would recommend filings for cavities, many of which I could not see on the x-ray, but he would tell me "they are on the inside of your teeth". Which may be true, but how would I know?
After a visit with Dr. Vickers and a recommendation of needing to get three cavaties filled, I decided to get a second opinion from the #1 rated dentist on Dr. Oogle (I figured why not start with the best).
I was given a totally different second opinion prognosis, the cavities Dr. Vickers recommended were non-existent. Shame on you Dr. Vickers!!!!
Needless to say, Dr Vickers will never see me or my money again.
