Be very careful going to Dr Meden. My first visit was pretty standard. x-rays, exam and a general outline of what work needed to be done. My next visit involved a root canal. The area was bleeding so the dr used a hot metal tool to cauterize the area. The problem was that he dropped it on my face!! I yelled in pain. The dr asked his assistant for some ointment but NEVER apologized to me or even acknowledged it happened. I had budgeted money for my procedures and was always charged more than I expected. I went three times and the total I was charged was $1095.00 for my portion of the services. When I got my statement from the insurance it showed I should have paid less than $400. About $700 difference. When I talked to Caroline she stated that I signed a paper that said I would pay the difference that the insurance didn't cover. My insurance states that Meden signed an agreement that he accepts the contracted amount and I am only responsible for the remainder of the contracted price. I had to have another dentist finish the work.
