I had a crown done, and had dental coverage from Dela Dental (I had no crown coverage from them) and GEHA (with whom Dr. Marler is not a preferred provider, They knew this going into the procedure). When finished I asked what I owed, and paid in full. Later GEHA sent a check to Dr. Marler and I asked about it in a letter, and only expected to have him explain it to me. I got no response and sent a second letter. I asked why he kept $300+ of the GEHA check and sent me what was left. I never for a reply, only a check for the difference in what GEHA paid and the additional charges (after having paid in full). It is a great office with nice people and great care, unfortunately I never went back because he would not communicate why the difference.
