I have had major jaw surgery with Dr. Butler in the past which was a fairly good experience, however, when following up years later I have been very disappointed. I now suffer from TMJ disorder which is very painful and quite stressful for me because it threatens my profession. As far as bedside manner, I was told by Dr. Butler that my condition was a "scurge" and "that he could offer me no answers." He also refused to review an MRI that I had brought with me from another doctor. I definitely got the impression that he could care less about my pain. His only solution was that I find another oral surgeon to treat me! If you yourself are searching for an oral surgeon I suggest you take his advice also and search elsewhere!
