Dr. Hudson's device for my TMJ made my grinding problem worse. When I repeatedly mentioned it to him, he made it my problem, saying it was stress. Really it was his lack of skill. I went to another orthodontist who made a different appliance, and I actually stopped grinding and damaging my teeth.
Also, my teeth were very crowded. Dr. Hudson gave me a retainer-like appliance, after years of wearing it and having him adjust it, my bottom teeth looked ridiculous - totally overlapped and hideous. Rather than address my problem, Dr. Hudson said my gums were it too bad shape (again, making his failure my problem) for braces. He also pointed to the paperwork I signed, acknowledging that the result wouldn't be perfect. I didn't realize I was signing something that essentially meant that it would like I hadn't been to the orthodontist at all!
I found another orthodonist who did a wonderful job straightening my teeth.
Dr. Hudson is not honest, does not take responsibility for his work and charges a high price. I would not recommend him at all.

After bad experiences with other offices, visisting Dr Hudson was a relief. The staff is great and knows what they are doing. They treated our 8-year-old great, explained everything to me clearly, and recommended a treatment plan that we could live with.
