Dr. Baum, and his staff are wonderful. He is very friendly and gives each individual exactly what they need. I had broken my retainer months before seeing him and went to a random orthodontist that charged me $350 for a new retainer and he adjusted it to move my teeth further out, doing the opposite of what I wanted. My dentist referred me to Dr. Baum. I ended up choosing to get the invisalign, because I already had braces and Dr. Baum said it would only take about 4-6 months. I saw instant results.

I was treated by Dr. Gary Baum and I can not be happier with the result, my teeth look wonderfully straight and he even finished my treatment earlier that his original prediction. Their office was very clean and well run and Dr. Gary Baum had an excellent bedside manner and he was always pleasant to deal and would always take as much time as I needed to explain all aspects of my treatment. I am currently wearing retainers for a few more months and I always look forward to my appointments with Dr. Gary Baum and his fun staff

Dr. Gary Baum is excellent and has treated our entire family and we have visited both of his offices in Westwood and Westchester. We had a wonderful experience with his care and with his office. He is a good and compassionate listener and takes the time to explain treatment unlike other orthodontists we visited.
His office staff is excellent and they helped us with our dental insurance to maximize our dental benefits and his fees are very reasonable.
We highly recommend Dr. Gary Baum and be sure your request him when you make an appointment at Baum Orthodontics

The actual treatment is above average but, Dr. Gary Baum seems to be very insincere and condescending. Luckily you mostly see the support staff and if your lucky the other Dr. on staff. The office runs very well and the results have been very good. I would just recommend that you keep your interaction with Dr. Baum to a minimun.

I am disappointed with Dr. Gary Baum's treatment of my younger child, who has been going to him for several years now and whose teeth look no better -- and in fact, possibly worse -- than when we started. Moreover, I find Dr. Baum to be extremely unpleasant to deal with. He is arrogant and condescending and dislikes answering questions, which I find irritating and unprofessional. Though his staff is lovely, I would avoid Gary Baum at all costs. There are just too many other good orthodontists in this city to have to deal with this.

Dr. Gary Baum has been treating my son since September, 2006. I rated him a 3/4 for complete success only because the treatment is still ongoing. To this date the treatment has been a complete success. We interviewed several orthodontists before choosing one, and he was the best.
His treatment plan was detailed and understandable, and Dr. Baum explained it fully. The office calculates and explains insurance payments, and does all the claims processing. Customer billing is timely and accurate. His prices are very reasonable.
Dr. Baum is always friendly, reassuring, and smiling, as is his staff. The office is clean, bright, and friendly . There is inevitable pain regarding orthodontics as teeth are being shifted, but no additional pain.
Dr. Baum has an on-site lab, so trips out of office are minimal, if at all.
The office is always full of patients, which is a good sign. I highly recommend Dr. Baum as an orthodontist.

The Baum Orthodontic Group provided me with several appliance options. The entire treatment was carried out as planned with the precise care and compassion. All appointments were on time without wait in a beautiful high-rise modern office overlooking Wilshire & Westwood Blvd. All treatments were carried out with the latest technical equipment. You will find all staff extremely professional and friendly. Dr. Baum produced many customized retainers for me. One example was riding his bike up in the Santa Monica Mountains to find large red ants to imbed in a custom retainer. This is no joke. He goes way out of his was to fulfill his patients' requests. I recommend him highly.
