Both of my daughters had braces from Dr. York and it went perfectly! After the birth of my third child, I needed braces! As an adult, I was understandably a bit nervous. HOWEVER, Dr. York and his staff made the whole experience easy and non-threatening. My baby was allowed to lay on my lap and did so quite a few times during the procedures. Many times he would just fall asleep, it was so calm. Bravo to all! We all had a great experience there and got to see so many friends and neighbors who also used their services.
About Front Desk: They are kind, friendly, have fun decorating the office - VERY kid- and adult-friendly!

I have known Dr. York for over 10 years, and I happened to be his life-time (?) patient with all my troubles that I created on my own. Each time I visit, he was always kind and good-caring dentist. He is very knowledgable of teeth moving and how it would affect on bones connected. I am very happy with my smile and I didn't feel much pain from the process. The cost was very reasonable and Dr. York is Delta Dental participating doctor. This place is right next to the light rail station which it was very convenient for me when I commuted to work using light rail. Even after my treatment was done, I really feel that he is very accountable to take of your teeth. I'd like to recommend Dr. York most.

Dr. York did not create my problem, but he definitely made it worse. I had braces as a child and that orthodontist had my bicuspids removed, then moved my other teeth forward. I went to Dr. York as an adult to correct my teeth, since they were moving in spite of me still wearing my retainer. 2 years later my bite was no better and my teeth wiggled. When Dr. York was finished with my treatment only 4 of my teeth contacted each other when I bit (2 on top and 2 on bottom). $30,000 + consultation with several dental specialists my teeth are finally fixed. All the specialists agreed having braces the second time just made things worse.

I had braces through Dr. York for about 2.5 years and am very happy with my results and have had many compliments on the resutls. Despite the complication of having a bridge the treatment went well, was relatively painless (always a few hours of discomfort after each tightening), and they are very friendly.
While not cheap, the fixed price was very competative and I liked that once my payments were through all was covered for whatever it took to finish my treatment and for my routine follow up visits, retainer adjustments etc.
I would definitely recommend Dr. York to anyone looking for an Orthodontist.

Dr. York treated myself and my husband as well as many of our friends. He is a trustworthy orthodontist and the results we have experienced are superb. He and his staff are friendly and kind, and excellent with children. Would highly recommend.

and we are very please at what an amazing smile she now has.
Everything went very smoothly and she is so glad to be done with treatment before graduation. Dr. York did an excellent job educating and explaining the whole process.

Dr York did a great job fixing my teeth from 1992-1996. I had such a positive experience I seriously considered the profession. My wife of 10 years has always said the first thing she noticed about me was my smile and straight teeth. I have no idea what the cost was then or now compared to other orthodontists.
