We have had 5 children in braces, I'm sure we will have to have the last 3 take their turns soon, too (unfortunately, they have inherited both my husband's and my teeth problems). We have always had a wonderful experience and relationship with Dr. Gechoff & his staff. Dr. Gechoff is detailed, thorough and has your child's best interest at heart. He has advised us what would be best for each child, but has also allowed us to decide how "perfect" each child's teeth need to be (for financial or other reasons). He and his staff are very professional, friendly and gently get the job done. The children enjoy visiting this office because of the prizes they can earn for keeping their teeth and braces clean and also for the video games they can play during their appointment. Our friends recommended Dr. Gechoff to us and we have recommended him to many other friends as well. We can't imagine having to use a different orthodontist ever!

I have two kids and brought them in for a consultation.
Dr. Gechoff gave his explaination and reasoning on how/why we need to get my son to stop sucking is thumb.
Dr. Gechoff also stated that my daughter needs a bit more time for her teeth to fall out and the new ones to grow in. His recommendation was braces in about one -two years. (She is 10 1/2)
He is not in a rush AT ALL about getting them on but making sure the timing is right to produce the best results. It would be real easy to have many kids with braces for 5 yrs straight.
HE DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY!!! WAY TO GO!!!

My son was born with a cleft lip and palate--so doing orthodontics on a basically stitched together palate is extremely difficult, time consuming and detail oriented. Dr. Gechoff is a perfectionist! We love him and his staff---my son's progress has been slow--because of this condition and waiting for teeth to come in to continue with treatment, but with the continued support and care we are moving forward with amazing results! Trust him so much I took my own retainers into him for adjustments as well. Amazing team and doctor!!

Dr. Gechofff has done an amazing job with my first son's mouth and now he is taking care of my second son. The office staff is friendly and the incentives they give their patients is amazing. My kids actually look forward to going to the orthodontist. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Gechoff treats both my daughter and step-daughter. They are well-organized, likeable people. The office is fun for the kids and reasonably comfortable for adults. The kids get tokens for their visits and compliance with treatment guidelines which they trade in for prizes. Coffee, hot chocolate I think, and sometimes even cookies are provided in the waiting room. Staff works well on billing issues (my step-daughter's father is uncooperative with billing and insurance issues, and this makes things complex at times). Costs are spelled out and easy to understand. They have an email appointment notification system to help you remember appointments. My daughter is a special needs kid with some (moderate) oral sensitivities, and they have been able to work with her without problem.

This doctor has done an excellent job on my braces

Dr. Gechoff is the best you can ask for. Prices are fair and competitive, and the office staff does their best to work with you. Highly reccomended!!

Excellant bedside manner and woderful staff. We could not have asked for better service. I felt taken care of throughout the entire course of treatment.

I have no idea about other orthodontists costs. I took my oldest daughter there and will be taking my 7 year old when it is time.
