I had braces to correct overcrowding and bite. Dr's personality at consultation does not reflect actual personality during treatment. I found him to be very condescending and arrogant; provided little explanation and was irritated with any questions - from anyone. Seems to prefer working with children than adults - should not take adult patients. Results are awful. I have a crooked smile now and do not like smiling, where I once smiled all the time. I am now going to seek corrective help from someone else.

My children have the best smiles and I owe that to Dr. E! His advanced techniques and state of the art practices insured that my kids would have lasting smiles. I was impressed with Dr. E's credentials and the fact that he teaches at UCSF. My kids smile all the time! Dr. E cares immensly about his patients and how thier bites turn out.

Let me tell you about his staffs, Dr. E, and his office:
1. His staffs are amazing and highly professional service (FRIENDLY). They are so nice and FASHIONABLE!! A++++
2. Dr. E: Don't judge his personality, but judge his TECHNIQUE is IMPORTANT. His technique is extremly FAR ADVANCED. (NO B.S!!) I think Dr. E is one of the BEST. I am very PICKY CLIENT AND EXPECT MORE THAN ANYBODY. I want everthing Must be PERFECT. Dr. E is very FRIENDLY doctor and down to earth. He is essy person to get along with. If you take your time to talk to him, he will be patient with you and talk to you. He is good doctor overall. After you talk to him, you will feel comfortable the way he handles himself very nice.
3. His office is so BEAUTIFUL. When you walk in the office, you feel that you are in PARIS because he designs his office like European style. Interior design is elagant and classic. YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!
***His price is very pricer, but it is worthy because his work is amazing *TRUST ME* because you pay that much you expect more and more. He is very detail guy I would say that. I already look over all his work on the Picture book (Many Cases). He focuses on your structured of your face than start from there. If you want your teeth look good with your smile together at the same time, Dr. E is a specialist on that (A++) He wants you to have a beautiful smile and have confidence about yourself.***
****If you want to have a beautiful smile, you should see him. Look over his picture note book (cases). Then, you will decide. I am SURE you will like his work.****

Dr. E left my teeth in worse shape than they were in before. The result has been repid bone loss, pain when biting. Cost of repair work so far $9000 (more than the cost of the ortho). Likelihood of losing teeth in the next few years due to poor work: very high.
Would not recommend. They are sloppy, not professional, and not competent.

I am sickened by my experience with Dr. E. from whom I received treatment for 21/2 years. My results are poor both asthetically and functionally. I am still suffering from TMJ-related issues which is why I was referred to Dr. E in the first place, but Dr. E. has refused to see me since my first post-braces appt. with him in January. I have kindly requested consultations to discuss my ongoing issues and further treatment, and he won't even speak with me on the phone. I have paid more than $7,500 to Dr. E. for orthodontics, and now he refuses to follow-up. I highly dislike conflict so I was tolerant of Dr. E's arrogance and social inequities during treatment--I had been assured he was the best. But he actually brought me to tears several times while I was in the chair by making deragatory comments, and by being condescending to me when I had questions about my treatment. His offices are state-of-the-art, and his staff are wonderful but they are obviously intimidated by his inflated ego and demeaning behavior. I still have to resolve my issues which causes me tremendous distress, and I am now seeking alternative advice. I would highly discourage anyone from receiving treatment from this man.

Our two daughers have had all sorts of problems with their teeth and TMJ, etc. We visited many local orthodontics and decided to go with Dr. E after speaking with him and looking at his results. He showcases some of the most difficult cases with the very best results. Our girls are at the end of their treatment and the difference this doctor and his staff has made has been exceptional. It is a commitment to the process, but well worth it. Our dauhters smile bigger and walk with more confidence and for girls entering high school in the fall this is an immeasurable bi-product to fiximg their teeth. Thank you Dr. E!!

Good overall result for my son and daughter. Communication regarding what's going on with treatment non existent unless parent is proactive about asking for an update. Appointment availability to suit our schedule is poor.

Dr. E is good and the Saratoga office is awesome.. Soon the Willow Glen office will be up and running just like Saratoga.

Dr. E is a brilliant orthodontist. He has done my ortho care and the ortho for my son. OUr smiles are always complimented. People cannot believe how beautiful our teeth are. From the beginning Dr. E stated that he was not Mr Personality, but a perfectionist and an educator. He made my child and I comfortable and knowledgeable. He even has encouraged my son to enter the dental field.

All I know is Dr. E is the best. I would recommend him to anyone. Unbelievable work and even better results!!!
