My childs treatment plan was very lengthy-9 yrs. The
treatment was not well thought out. The end result left alot of gum recession. The doctor had no comment as usual. The doctor's chairside manner is BLAAH! The assistant were sometimes new and it showed. The assistant poked alot and giggled. My child ended up with root exposure and gum recession not to mention the 9 year of misery.

The ladies in Dr. Mayers office are the best. They will do anything to help you out and they are kind as well. I would have liked a little more interaction with Dr. Mayer, for example, I would have liked more updates on my son's tooth status, but otherwise, he was efficient and pleasant as well. My son never had a problem there and it appeared that most of Whittier area brought there kids there. The atmosphere is pleasant and the office staff are very kind. As for cost, I am uncertain, my ex-husbands and I both had insurance that paid for it all (one child).
