Read Reviews for Dr. Arthur Margolis
I had Dr. Margolis fix my severe overbite way back in the 60s. It took a long time and I went through braces, a head gear (do they still have those?) retainers, but I ended up with movie star teeth. To this day I get huge compliments on my teeth and smile, including compliments from every dentist I've ever had since. I was a child then and I'm now in my 50s, hope it's the same guy although I'd think he'd be retired by now!

Proceedure lasted 2 years longer than anticipated, for 4 years of total treatment without successful outcome. Dr. Morgolis specifically explained that patients with afternoon appointments take longer than those with morning appointments. He admitted to having an ineffective scheduling system that was discriminatory to his patients. He extracted a tooth unecessarily - every ortho I've seen since has said it was from a "lack of expertise and totally unencessary." Additionally, many of my dentists have commented about the unusual scarring along my jaw bone, which they attribute to bad orthodonic proceedure.
I now have to undertake expensive "corrective" work by an orthodontist in New York who actually knows what he is doing.
