Dr. Resnick destroyed my face when he pulled four bicuspids for braces. It is the single most horrifying experience of my life. I realized he didn't have a clue how to solve my bite (which was complicated) but went forward for a few thousand dollars. He estimated 2 years in braces. I ended up in them for four years (finishing with another orthodontist who was head of a major dental school) --actually they wanted me to stay in them longer but at 40+ four years was pushing things. I was told to get implants by one orthodontist when he saw what Dr. Resnick had done and caps by another which would have required filing down eight teeth next to the four which had been pulled. I didn't do the caps or the implants although in retrospect, I am thinking I should have. My teeth look terrible, They are pushed back into my face . I cannot smile for a photo without looking awful. You are welcome to contact me for photos. DO NOT GO TO HIM, Get a second opinion no matter who you use. He came highly recommended by friends whose children who needed minor orthodontics. He is not competent for adults or major work
