Dr. Kawa has impeccable orthodontic skills, chair-side manners, reasonable fees, great patience and thorough. I wore braces for 11 months for TMJ that totally corrected the problem. I was extremely satisfied with his services.

They are a FACTORY. If you want personalized care for yourself or your children, STAY AWAY. I was warned of this only after I became a patient and then had the most inconsistent orthodontic care. They don't take responsibility for faulty care and instead want to charge the patient for their mistakes. Yes their office is beautiful, but thats about it.

My daughter is crying from the horrible treatment. She has a terrible overbite and her jaw clicks. Kawa said he was totally satisfied, but my wife said it was a shame to spend thousands of dollars to destroy my daughter's mouth. Now we do not have money to spend for retreatment. We had three orthodontists tell us her bite and jaw poor condition. When I asked them to speak to Kawa I was told they do not want to deal with him. If you love your child do not go to this self center arrogant self lover.

My name is Megan, I am 14 yrs old. I had to have oral surgery before I could even start my ortho treatment and I was so scared. The entire staff made me feel so special and comfortable. After surgery I started my ortho treatment and I was in braces for 1 1/2 yr. Every time I went in for my appointment, they made me feel like a princess and the staff was always so friendly. Now my ortho is finished and I get compliments about my teeth all the time. I will never go any other place, I love Dr. Kawa and his staff!!

I went to Kawa for the Invisalign treatment and after 12 months wondered why my teeth were still not straight. Turns out my original orthodontist, the first of three, forgot to place two major attachments to my teeth. These attachments are what actually align your teeth. In braces it would be the equivalent to forgetting to install brackets on the teeth.
I wrote Kawa a letter expressing my discontent and to seek an apology. He responded via email to my surprise and basically told me the treatment was running as planned although my third orthodontist (the other two quit) told me it was not. He also encouraged me to seek a malpractice attorney and recommended that I transfer.
Needless to say this is not the sort of office you or your children should go to. This place once had a great reputation but ever since Kawa has decided to be Mr. Politics the practice has turned for the worse. I was not surprised to hear that I was not an isolated incident and that many patients had been coming in with similar problems. If you care about your teeth find somewhere else to go.
About Front Desk: I will say that the front desk staff is extremely helpful and polite. I have no bad words for them and only wish the owner was as great at doing his job as his staff. It is a wonder that any of them stick around.
