I wore braces twice, both provided by his facility, and needed both times. However, when my braces were removed the second time, my gums were puffy, and he recommended brushing until I saw "buckets of blood." I did as he recommended, and when I returned, he told me to stop since I was removing too much of my gums. Twelve years later, I needed additional surgery to replace my loss of gums. A nice warning of possibly overdoing it would have been nice.
When my braces were removed the second time, his secretary (Reene) was asked to scrape off the cement. In addition to the cement, she removed much-needed enamel from my two front teeth. At the age of 35, I now need two veneers to cover up my ultra-sensitive front teeth because of severe enamel removal. This will cost $2,000 with no help from dental insurance. Thanks, Dr. Kvittem! These surgeries all combined cost as much as the braces! Stay away from him, unless you have the time and $$ to take him to small claims court.

I WAS TREATED BY DR. KVITTEM OVER 20 YEARS AGO, AND MY SMILE IS STILL AS BEAUTIFUL AS WHEN HE FIRST TOOK MY BRACES OFF! HE EXUDES PROFESSIONALISM, BUT AT THE SAME TIME IS SO KIND. HE HAS A LOVE FOR CHILDREN WHICH ONE REALIZES IN SEEING HIM DEAL WITH HIS PATIENTS. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIS OFFICE TO EVERYONE.
