I went to Dr. Strait years ago for braces. He told me he'd have me in braces within 6 mos. My co-workers, who went to other Orthodontist would come in the next day with braces! I know I had a cross-bite, but after about a year, I asked him why I still didn't have braces and reminded him that he promised me a certain timeframe. He suggested that he return most of my Orthodontist monies from my insurance, because he wasn't doing anything to my teeth when I came for my visits! I then got Tinnitus from an apparatus he put in my mouth that wasn't fitted properly. His office started avoiding me and wouldn't give me my xrays! I had to call the head of the Dental Assoc. for GA! I still have ringing in my ears and TMJ!

Had braces. Poorly run office, small, unirganized, not very patient oriented. dr knows his stuff but not very helpful or precise with work. overall a friendly place but not worth the money. i have straight teeth but jaw problems werent corrected or addressed and i stuck with an overbite and broken retainer. i would nt wastet time or money with this practice. find a better, patient oriented facility before considerig this one. btw, i was never given xrays before braces were put on because apparent xray machine they owned was broken. ( the whole 3 years i was there for treatment ) hmmmm....

I must say this is the worst place. Poor service. The Orthodontist works one day a week and they do nothing to help you with appointment times!

My experience with this docter is not very good. My son recieved his braces his 6th grade year in middle school. We recently moved and are now seeing a new docter that feels docter Straight damaged my sons mouth more than fixed it. My son is now a senior in high school about to graduate May 21, STILL IN HIS BRACES!!! It has been 7 years in his braces 5 of those years with Dr.Straight. I feel this docter either does not know what he is doing, or runs games on a select few of his customers,because it is uterly ridiculous to remain in braces for 7 years when your mouth is no worst than anybody elses. Extremly disapointed, and now i am considering a lawsuit for da expenses, and emotional damage Dr.Straint has caused. My advice to anybody looking for braces, dont always go for the cheapest when you are dealing with your appereance. I personally made that mistake. When its all said and done I have paid for praces 3 times, almost 10,000 out my pocket when i jus cuda paid the 3,000 and my son could have been out his braces, and enjoying his senior year without them. Just a shame. HIGHLY recommend NO ONE recieves treatment from this docter. I am not a rival dentist of no sort. I was an actual Patient with Dr.Straight. This info is Ligit.

I took my child to three different orthodontists to get an opinion of the length of treatment, cost, possible outcome etc. I was given a very negative outlook by another ortho that my child would need teeth pulled and the length of time was to be 2-3 years. Dr. Strait did a perfect job in two years, no teeth were pulled and we are thrilled with the results.
