My son started going to Dr Huerter for his braces and had problems from the very start with brackets falling off. After the 3rd bracket came off we were told that we would have to pay extra for any new brackets that would need to be applied. We decided to go to another orthodontist instead. My daughters both had a different Orthodontist and only lost maybe a bracket each in the 24 months they were in braces. My son now goes to a different orthodontist and has not lost a bracket in the last 14 month. I would say that the problem is with the doctor not the kids when it comes to bracket lose.
The desk staff is also very inept at what they do. They never answered calls or questions in a timely manner.

He has done wonders for my daughters teeth, you couldn't ask for a better orthodontist! I would recommend him for sure!
