I feel slightly scammed by their guarantee your smile program. I feel as if they are extending treatment time unnecessarily after I have stated I am happy with the changes that have occurred thus far. Their initial agreement that treatment would last only until you are happy with your smile is not valid. It would also help if he did simple chart reviews before running in and out of the room for approximately 30 seconds of the treatment time so he could be slightly more knowledgable about what he recommended the previous appointment without the patient having to correct him.

to Dr. Misuraca. He was always warm, friendly and always
took his time with us from our consultation
appointments to getting braces our on and off . Dr. Misuraca was
very informative and explained the process in detail using
computer images so that we understood exactly how the
treatment process would go. We have had appointments at
all of Dr. Misuraca's offices and one is more beautiful than the next.
The kids look forward to the appointments because the offices
are so awesome. Very warm, comfortable and so much fun for the kids.
I am very happy that we chose Misuraca Orthodontics.
About Front Desk: Everyone is so kind and helpful including the front desk staff, office personnel and hygienists. Very easy making appointments and they always take their time with us to make sure all of our questions are answered before we leave.

Listen to some good advice and stay away from this place. I didnt listen to the reviews and am really paying for it. After 8 months of service we needed to transfer to Florida. We contacted the office and were told as long as our account was up to date we didnt owe anything else. After moving we were called back and told we owed almot $1600.00!! When we asked why the change in balance we were told that the doctor reviewed our chart and felt that he deserved more money. Absolutely terrible. The financial lady is terribly rude. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the honest, reliable orthodontists in Baton Rouge, NOT this one.

Be Warned; DO NOT GO TO THIS ORTHODONTIST!! We were warned by friends before we brought our daughter there for braces but didn't really believe they would be so bad. Our Mistake. As time went on it was almost impossible to get a convenient appointment and the wait times got longer and longer. None of that would have been horrible except for when we told them we had to move. Family issues forced us to move after about 8 months of treatments. We had financed the braces and were paying $250.00 a month. My wife called and spoke to the finance woman about 2 months before our move to see how they handled such things. The woman told us then that as long as our account was current at the time of our daughters final appointment with them that we were fine and no further money was due. Right before we actually left we received a bill for almost $1800.00!! I called and spoke to the woman again and she said the doctor decided that we owed him more money! Anything I asked her after that, including how we could go from a zero balance to owing $1800.00 was answered "that was the doctors decision" Very arrogant and uncaring, STAY AWAY!! Don't be fooled by the flashy billboards and ads, they are paid for with money they steal from their patients

I usually don't write reviews for anything negative I have to say because a lot of times it really doesn't matter too much. However, Dr. Misuraca unfortunately is a type of assembly line. He has four locations, so he definitely will not remember who you are, and if he does, it's probably because you are one of the few that he's done a great job with his work.
Dr. Misuraca does not strive for perfection in every case. To him, what he sees as perfect is definitely not perfect at all. He does the work so fast, that you really do not feel as though you have any one on one interaction. You go in, and you go out. He does not want to spend too much time with you because you are just one of his many patients (with 4 locations, it makes sense).
If you want to go to an orthodontist that will do a quick fix job, in a shorter time span, go to Dr. Misuraca. However, if you are looking for perfection and one hundred percent satisfaction, I recommend someone else.
As Dr. Misuraca got his degree in dentistry ~20 years ago, he is not exactly up to date in all of the ways to fix teeth. I believe the main way he passes all of his board exams these days, is that with so many patients he treats, he's bound to have done one perfect smile to send.

Dr. Vance Misuraca hires a few really UNQUALIFIED nurses and let them do all the work. They (including him) do not tend to listen to the client and care about what the clients think (i.e. if we have a specific concern, he will just say "oh everything is perfect," and then joke your concern around and then disregard it). What is worse, one time one nurse even place braces at a wrong position and I suffered SO MUCH pain! They only fixed it after a week. Sometimes I had to wait for up to 40 minutes for my appointment. I would not recommend anyone to go there.

I don't recommend going to Dr. Misuraca. I regret going to him, because the way he treated me and dealing with my teeth. I've had brace for at least eight years and they still didn't turn out near perfect. I told him all the problems with my teeth. I felted he was rushing and didn't care at all how my teeth turned out. He just kept saying it was perfect, knowing he just wanted to get rid of me. He let his assistants do everything, they didn't treat me very nice either. It seem like they didn't know what they were doing. The only time they talk to me is when people are around. I don't feel appreciate going there. If I have a choice to go somewhere else to get my braces done again, I would go in a heartbeat.
