AVOID.
In my honest opinion, Dr. Korn should not be practicing anymore. My result was a depleted bank account and the treatment did not correct underbite, and instead I ended with a cross-bite. It frustrates and angers me so much that I wasted years of my life and over $4,500 at this office. That awful decision is on me but I can not believe how he is still receiving patients so take this as a warning and run!
The only positive I can take out of my experience was Julie, the coordinator who was delightful but rarely present.
About Front Desk: My memory of Anne was that she was incredibly rude and bitter-spirited. She's awful. Just awful.

I reviewed Dr. Korn some time ago and am not sure if my old review is present. I wanted to post a follow-up. I had braces as an adult, at 26, to fix an underbite. I should have gotten surgery, but Dr. Korn did not present my options to me thoroughly and I ended up with only orthodontic treatment. He tilted my teeth to such an extent that now, 5 years later, I have been told that they are in danger of coming out of my jaw as I age, and the gums have already started to recede significantly. I will need another 18-24 months orthodontics and jaw surgery to fix the problem. My jaw surgery and braces will cost me $20,000 in addition to the $6000 I spent on Dr. Korn.
As I mentioned in my other review, Dr. Korn was rude, unwilling to explain his treatment decisions, and was routinely 1+ hours late, which was inconvenient for me as a working adult. I would not return to him for orthodontic treatment and have since chosen another orthodontist.
The only good thing I remember about Dr. Korn's office was his wonderful staff.

STAY AWAY!!!
Very arrogant, very dismissive, ignores your questions. Makes you feel like you should be lucky to be there rather than a customer paying $$$. Don't know where he (and his staff) get off treating patients like they are a nuisance. This is a big expense, and you are stuck with year(s) of having to deal with him, so GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

I had such a bad experience with Korn that I discontinued the treatment after having wasted four months and $3,000 on him. The reason I saw him was because he is said to be "world-renowned". He showed up at consultation, told me that everything could be fixed and then disappeared the next two appointments. He left all the important work such as installing the braces to a doctor in his clinic who was so indifferent that she wouldn't bother to say hi to you during the appointment. The assistants did all the work, they are nice, but they did a poor job. My braces were hurting me day and night so much that sometimes I wanted to cry, couldn't sleep at night because the wire stuck out and rubbed my mouth constantly. Korn then adjusted my braces the next two appointments, but he was always rushed and condescending. He scolded me loudly like to a child for loosened brackets. He was impatient when I asked him about the treatment. And the worst is that he uses out-dated method, doesn't use rubber bands, and moves your teeth so little at a time. After four months, I saw little changes to my teeth, and after so much suffering I dropped him and switched to another doctor, who luckily was the complete opposite of Korn.

I very much regret using Dr. Korn as my orthodontist. He was always rushed, late, and unpleasant. He is rude to his staff and patients and refuses to discuss any of the treatment decisions, as if you are wasting his time. I would have put up with rudeness and waiting if my results were good, but my teeth are actually off center and still crooked. One of the procedures he did made my teeth worse than before by making one side of my upper jaw lower than the other.
I was expecting my friends to say my teeth looked nice after my braces came off, but instead I got puzzled looks and questions like, "So are you all done with braces then?" Haha. When I asked Dr. Korn about a few things along the way, he usually just said, "Nobody has perfect teeth." I went to another local orthodontist to see if he could fix things and he said that he "takes over a lot of Dr. Korn's cases." Apparently I am I am not the only person who has had bad results with Dr. Korn.
Now I am faced with spending another $6000 and another year and a half or two years of my time, after wasting a bunch of time and money already. If this review can help even one person avoid my same mistakes, then I will feel like I have done something good.

Treatment period has exceeded Dr. Korn's estimate. He is unwilling or unable to explain my current status. While I thought my bite felt quite good (not perfect, however) about 4 months ago, since then it has continuously gotten worse with each adjustment. I'm about ready to switch orthodontists at this point. Regarding staff, they seem great and very responsive.
