I am extremely happy that we made the decision to go with Dr Fertman and his practice. We did meet with a few orthodontists, and they all seemed nice, but Dr Fertman has gone above and beyond since day one.
Comparing those initial consultations, I found Dr Fertman to be much more thorough in his examination of my daughter, knowledgeable about all of the latest techniques and treatments, and informative than any of the others. He made sure he understood what our goals and concerns were, outlined a clear plan for treatment and has provided consistently outstanding care.
My daughter has mild special needs so I was ever so slightly concerned about her readiness for braces, but instead of the hesitation we often experience, he used this as an opportunity to encourage her independence, boost her confidence and help teach her about the importance of self-care. It has been a wonderful experience for her.
We have not had any problems, just the occasional inconvenience of things shifting, wires moving out of place and the like, and he came in once on a Sunday and another time on a holiday weekend, telling us to just head straight in immediately upon hearing that she had some discomfort.
Throw in the fun atmosphere, and the sweet little perks you get (such as a box of mac & cheese for dinner the day you get your braces on), and we just could not be happier. If you have this decision to make, stop worrying and go to Dr. Fertman... You won't regret it!

I have identical twin daughters. After talking to other orthodontists and comparing practices in my town and the next, I HAD to go with Dr. F. because he was THE BEST. I liked his meticulous approach and his thorough examination and treatment plan. He assured me that he would retain their identical appearances and he did. He is up to date on the latest developments and research in the field. He teaches in the orthodontic department at Boston University. Both of my daughters loved seeing him and his associate Dr. Toro. His staff is very friendly and easy to deal with.They were especially understanding of working moms.
Full disclosure here—Dr. Fertman lives in my neighborhood. This was something that I considered before my daughters became his patients. What if I didn't like the results, the care or the price X 2? Would it be better to work with a stranger since this involved a big investment of time and money? Needless worry. I'm so glad I chose him.
End result—gorgeous, identical smiles. Bravo, Dr. Fertman!

the way I rated this review was very true, how ever where ever you go, you will never get pain free, so this is definitely the best option. they are kind and considerate and caring. If they know something will hurt, they do what they can to make it less painful. Also, every day someone comments on my smile. Dr.Fertman is a perfectionist and does great work. Everyone I know likes him and his work. The rest of his staff is friendly and nice and they all know what they are doing.

Awesome! Just fantastic! Results are amazing! I've known Dr. Fertman for practicly my whole life and i am so happy that i have decided to go to him. He spends alot of time on your teath, but it is so worth it. I've recomended to friends and they love him too. He is very nice aswell!

It has a great facility. The staff are very friendly and are almost family. Also the price is reasonable. The best orthodonist in Burlington!

Dr. Fertman's practice is top-notch. In addition, the atmosphere is so warm and friendly, Dr. Fertman and his staff seem like family. The quality of care, attention to detail and individual treatment keeps us coming back with each child (and over-bite).
