Dr. DeAngelis and his staff have done beautiful orthodontic work for two of my children. The office decor is dated and parking is inconvenient, but we've continued to go because of the excellent work that he does. Dr. DeAngelis has been a professor of orthodontia, and he is highly skilled in all aspects. We went to see him when our pediatric dentist suggested pulling some teeth and using a jaw expander for one of my children whose front teeth were crowded. Dr. DeAngelis expressed strong disagreement with that course. He said that child's teeth were much better being left alone for another 1-2 years, and then having traditional braces. He saw my younger child whose teeth were just coming in, however, and recommended fitting her with a retainer immediately. Over the next year or so, he was able to make small adjustments in the retainer so that as her teeth came in, they were guided into a better position. This very simple treatment significantly improved the position of her teeth, so that once they were all in, she didn't need to wear braces for as long.
Dr. DeAngelis' staff is also great. They've been with him for a long time and know all of their patients. A great orthodontist.
