When it comes down to bedside manner, Dr. Chang has been the worst in my experience. He does not feel the need to explain anything to you (procedures, treatment options, how to care for your braces/retainers) - he basically lacks communication skills. Also, if faced with a question, he will respond back in a condescending manner. I do not recommend him - he needs to remember that WE are PAYING him for a service!

Not that great, wished I did not pick this place.
Everyone is so rude, the orthodontist is so quiet.
You sit, he does his thing, all he says is hi, bye. Does not give me update of what is happening to my mouth or anything.
If you want better service and an actual relationship with the staff, surely not here!
About Front Desk: Everyone is rude, especially the lady in the front desk, she seem like she doesn't even want to be there and always speak with an rude attitude.

I highly recommend Dr. Chang to my friends and family. He is very attentive during consultation and explained all the treatments in detail. Dr. Chang is very knowledgeable and makes time to answer all the questions we had before starting treatment.
During treatment, I was very pleased to learn that Dr. Chang attends to all his patients himself. I was pleasantly surprised!! I have never seen an orthodontist who cared for his patients as much as Dr. Chang. He follows all his patients from start to finish and never once did I see an assistant do any of the work.
Dr. Chang's office decor is modern and very up to date. He has the best facility I have seen anywhere in the D.C. area. Everything is digital including all x-rays, which reduces my daughter's exposure to radiation versus a regular x-ray machines. His staff is wonderful and always greets us when we walk in the door!!
I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Chang to all my family and friends!!

I thought he did a poor job explaning the procedure. The process took much more time than estimated. I would not recommend him to my friends and family.

Dr. Chang offers the best treatment and patient care of all the orthodontists I've visited and consulted with. He is very knowledgeable in the field and I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends. He treats all his patients personally, unlike other orthodontists that delegate work to their assistants. I feel confident and secure knowing that he is overseeing the care of my children. A++++
