Now that I'm an adult, I would never recommend this facility or Dr. Glad. It must be because they accept the Maine insurance, but I had braces for 7 years and my results were horrible. I never broke any part of any appliance and when my braces came off the enamel ripped off the front of each molar requiring emergency dental work. I truly feel that this a faulty practice unless you have a simple alignment problem. I should have been referred elsewhere once the "doctor" determined he didn't know how to address my issues properly. I was young, as most people getting braces for the first time are, so I didn't know any better. It's too late to sue now, but I should have. I spent 7 years, SEVEN years, and saw very little out of that... waste of time and money. I have talked to several people who have had similar experiences, it's funny how there are no decent reviews online, they must have been removed. Please don't go here.
About Front Desk: Not helpful. Always stressed out and forgot to schedule appointments. At my last visit, they were too busy and said they would call to schedule.. never did.

10 years ago my daughter received services from Dr. Glad. Now that my son needs braces, we went to him again. His staff is very friendly, professional and kind to the children. Dr. Glad is also the only orthodontist in central and northern Maine who serves vulnerable children and for that I applaud him. He cares about kids more than money, and in my book that makes him the best. Of course, my daughter now has a healthy beautiful smile, and my son is on his way to the same. Whether you are uninsured, have private insurance, or public insurance, I highly recommend Dr. Glad.
